DAY 1: SAIGON - CANTHO |
We travel from Saigon into the Mekong Delta, stopping in Vinh Long for a boat trip to the nearby fruit farms and islands on the river. We spend the night in Cantho, the bustling heart of the Mekong Delta.

DAY 2: CANTHO TO CHAU DOC |
We make an early morning trip to the floating market at Cai Rang. We continue on to Chau Doc to take a boat trip to the Cham Muslim village in an island on the river. We also visit some local temples. (B)

DAY 3: CHAU DOC TO PHNOM PENH (CAMBODIA) |
We travel by boat up the mighty Mekong River to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. Arriving late–afternoon, we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant (B)

DAY 4: EXPLORING PHNOM PENH |
In the morning, we visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. After lunch, we visit the genocide museum of Tuol Sleng and the Killing Fields before returning to the hotel. (B)

DAY 5: PHNOM PENH TO KAMPOT |
We travel south towards the riverside town of Kampot, stopping at the Angkorian temples of Phnom Chisor and Tonle Bati along the way. We also visit the pre–Angkorian remains at Angkor Borei and Phnom Da in the area around Takeo. Dinner and overnight in Kampot. (B)

DAY 6: KAMPOT, BOKOR AND SIHANOUKVILLE |
We travel to the leading seaside town of Sihanoukville, making a detour to the abandoned hill station of Bokor along the way where we enjoy a picnic lunch. (B)

DAY 7: BOAT TRIP TO KOH RONG (B) |
We take a boat trip to the islands off Sihanoukville, home to some beautiful beaches. We have a seafood lunch on Koh Rong.

DAY 8: SIHANOUKVILLE - PHNOM PENH |
We head back towards Phnom Penh, stopping to enjoy a picnic in the cool national park of Kirirom.late afternoon is free shopping around Phnom Penh’s lively markets(B)

DAY 9: PHNOM PENH - KRATIE VIA THE MEKONG |
We travel by road up the Mekong River from Phnom Penh to atmospheric Kratie. After lunch we go by boat to view Cambodia’s freshwater dolpins inhabiting the river here and catch a river sunset from Sombok Hill. Dinner and overnight in Kratie(B)

DAY 10: KRATIE, KOMPONG CHAM AND KOMPONG THOM |
We travel south by road to Kompong Cham and visit the temple of Wat Nokor and the hills of local legends, Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey. In the afternoon, we continue to Kompong Thom, stopping at the Wat Guha Nokor and Phnom Suntok. (B)

DAY 11: SAMBOR PREI KUK AND SIEM REAP |
We make an early morning visit to the pre–Angkorian site of Sambor Prei Kuk. Returning to Kompong Thom for an early lunch, we continue to Siem Reap by road, stopping briefly at an impressive Angkorian bridge (B)

DAY 12: ANGKOR THOM & THE GRAND CIRCUIT |
In the morning we visit the sites of Angkor Thom, including Victory Gate, the Bayon, Baphuon and the Terrace of the Elephants. After lunch, we visit the grand circuit, including Neak Poan, Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Khan.We watch sunset over Angkor Wat. (B)

DAY 13: SMALL CIRCUIT AND ANGKOR WAT |
In the morning, we visit the highlights of the petit circuit, including Prasat Kravan, Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, Takeo and jungle–clad Ta Prohm. After lunch in town, we visit magnificent Angkor Wat to view its architecture and bas relief’s. (B)

DAY 14: BANTEAY SREI AND KBAL SPEAN |
Early morning visit to Angkor Wat to watch sunrise, before continuing north to visit the elegant temple of Banteay Srei and the riverbed carvings at Kbal Spean. After lunch, we see Les Artisans d’Angkor and then take a cruise through floating villages and a sunset from Phnom Krom. (B)

DAY 15: BANTEAY CHHMAR AND SISOPHON |
We travel by road to the remote jungle temple of Banteay Chhmar in the far north–west of Cambodia, enjoying a picnic lunch at the site. Later we visit the smaller temple of Banteay Top. Dinner and overnight in Sisophon. (B)

DAY 16: SISOPHON TO BANGKOK |
We travel by road to Bangkok via the Poipet border crossing. The tour ends on arrival in the Cambodia (Poipet) and Aranyaphathet (Thailand’s border) (B)
