ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVE - SIEM REAP (L/D)
Siem Reap – a small colonial town, charming and pleasant enough to roam around, with some fine examples of French colonial architecture, Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, meet and welcome with your tour guide then transfer to hotel for check-in. After check-in, proceed to start your trip with a cruise to Tonlé Sap Lake (largest inland body of water);m Enjoy the spectacular views as you cruise along the Tonle Sap Lake, which enable you to see fascinating fishing villages, one of Asia’s largest fishing villages. On the way back to town, visit Artisans D’ Angkor to discover the traditional Khmer techniques used for stone and wood carving, lacquering and gilding, The numerous items made in the workshops are inspired by the rich Cambodia heritage, Later, return to the town. Accommodation & Overnight at hotel, Siem Reap.
 
DAY 02: SIEM REAP (B/L/D)
This morning, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom (Great Angkor or Great City). Angkor Thom is a  3km walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire. After Jayavarman VII recaptured the Angkorian capital from the Cham invaders in 1181, he began a massive building campaign across the empire, constructing Angkor Thom as his new capital city. The ancient walled city of Angkor Thom contains the famous Bayon Temple with its more than 200 enormous, mysterious smiling faces. Next, visit to the Terrace of the Elephants. Impressive, two and half-meter tall wall spanning the heart of Angkor Thom in the front of Baphoun and Phimeanakas, Carved elephants and giant garudas adorn the wall. Terrace of the Leper King – a double terrace at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants with deeply carved nagas, demons and other mythological beings. After lunch, visit ANGKOR WAT – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Angkor Wat, the largest temples in the world, with a volume of stone equalling that of the Cheops pyramid in Egypt/ The temples of Angkor, built from 879-1191AD, when the Khmer civilization was at the height of its development, represent one of humankind’s most astonishing and enduring architectural achievements. In the evening, proceed to watch sunset at Phnom Bakheng hill. Tonight, enjoy your dinner with Khmer traditional Dance show (meal is separately quoted).
 
DAY 03: SIEM REAP - PHNOM PENH (By Air - Airfare is included) (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we take you to the airport for morning flight (approx.45minutes) to Phnom Penh, Phnom Penh: the Capital city of Cambodia, is the commercial and political hub of Cambodia as well as home to nearly 2 million of the country’s 14 million people. Upon arrival transfer to visit the Royal Palace (proper attire) and Silver Pagoda. The Royal Palace is the official residence of King Norodom Sihamony and his king farther Norodom Sihanouk, several buildings within the gleaming yellow walls of the compound can be visited. Next, to visit the National Museum. Check in hotel, in the afternoon we proceed to visit the killing filed of Choeung Ek – a soccer-field-sized area surrounded by farmland, the killing fields contain mass graves, slightly sunken, for perhaps 20,000 Cambodians, many of whom were tortured before being killed. A memorial building stands in the centre of the killing fields, many of the skulls inside were pulled from the mass graves, next visit the Toul Sleng, known as the Museum of Genocide Crimes. In 1975 Toul Svay Prey High school was taken over by Pol Pot’s security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21). It was used by the Khmer Rouge as detention and torture centre in the later 1970. Today the building houses exhibits, paintings and photographs of many of the victims. Visitors can see the crude cells built in the classrooms and the torture devices used to extract confessions. Later you will then proceed to Russian Market for some shopping, next, proceed to Independent Monument, NAGA world casino or visit Night Market (If time permitted) and drive along the river for a view of the city and its local lifestyle. DAY 04: PHNOM PENH - DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
After breakfast, free at own leisure until time for transfer to airport for your flight home.
