ITINERARY
DAY 01: DAY 01: ARRIVE - PHNOM PENH
Arrival in Phnom Penh, meet and transfer to check-in hotel. In the afternoon, start your city sightseeing with a visit to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, home to a glittering array of Buddhist statuary. Continue to visit the National Museum, the world’s leading museum of Khmer sculpture, and visit to the harrowing genocide museum at Tuol Sleng. Overnight at hotel, Phnom Penh.
 
DAY 02: PHNOM PENH - KAMPONG CHHNANG - PURSAT
Today, we travel by road from Phnom Penh via Oudong to Kampong Chhnang. Journey north in central Cambodia, passing through Oudong. This area around the Tonle Sap Lake is a low-lying alluvial plain where the vast majority of Cambodians live and grow rice. Drive from Kampong Chhnang to Pursat, traveling north in central Cambodia, passing through Ponley and Krakor, where we stop visiting these places, including Odoong, capital of Cambodia between 1618 and 1866, Portery places, Wat Diep: this renovated pagoda has about 12 resident monks and is located next to the road from the market to the harbor, and Krakor, It’s on the Tonle Sap River, is the gateway to the floating city of Kompong Loung with it’s 10,000 Vietnamese inhabitants and schools, churches and shops all floating under the hot sun. Overnight at hotel, Pursat.
 
DAY 03: PURSAT - BATTAMBANG
After breakfast, we drive from Pursat to Battambang. Drive northwest towards the Tonle Sap Lake passing through Muong Roessei, Battambong is Cambodia’s second largest town, ne stled on the banks of the Sangker River. In the afternoon we visit the WAT PIPHIT: modern wat on the outskirts of Battambang. MUSEUM: located on the waterfront, it has five intricately carved lintels surrounding the building. The building contains a collection of statues and carvings. Overnight at hotel, Battamban.
 
DAY 04: BATTAMBANG
After breakfast, we visit the local market, Wat Ek Phnom; 11th century temple ruin with two raised sandstone sanctuaries with carved lintels and surrounded by a laterite wall and a moat. Visit the sacred mountain of Phnom Sampeau and the riverside temple, Visit the village and discover the daily life in the Cambodian countryside. Stop at a workshop specialized in wooden sculpture. Drive to Phnom Bannon Hill. Climb the 337 steps to reach the Prasat Bannon temple dating from the 12th century and relish the breathtaking view over the surrounding plains. Overnight at hotel, Battambang.
 
DAY 05: BATTAMBANG - SIEM REAP
Today we take a local boat from Battambang to Siem Reap. Boat trip on the Sankei River east and then on the Tonle Sap Lake. During the rainy season the lake swells from 3000 sq km to 7500 sq km as the level of the Mekong River rises, backing up the Tonle Sap River and causing it to flow north-westward into the lake. During the dry season, as the water level of the Mekong River falls, the Tonle Sap River reverses it's flow. This process makes the lake one of the world's richest sources of freshwater fish. Arrive in Siem Reap, transfer to check-in hotel. In the afternoon, we commerce tour with visiting the South Gate of Angkor Thom, This Royal city was first built under the reign of Udayadityavarman II in the 11th Century. Drive through the South Gate and visit Bayon Temple, Elephant terrace & Terrace of Leper King, at the North of the Baphuon lies the Royal city, of which very little remains. The first owes its name to the outstanding depiction of elephants, while the second gets its name from the magnificent sculpture of King Yasovarman, popularly known as the Leper King. Overnight at hotel, Siem Rea.
 
DAY 06: SIEM REAP - ANGKOR COMPLEX
Today, we visit Sras Srang, the royal pool is situated opposite the East gate of Banteay Kdei. It is known as the King's bathing pond. Next stop is Banteay Kdei, Continue to Takeo and jungle-clad Taprom This temple was a monastery built by Jayavarman VII as a residence for his mother. In the afternoon, we visit, magnificent Angkor Wat to view its architecture and bas reliefs. Enjoy sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng hill. Overnight at hotel, Siem Reap.
 
DAY 07: SIEM REAP - KAMPONG THOM
Tody we travel by road to Kampong Thom. Before leaving from Siem Reap, about 10km, we stop visiting the complex of Roluos Group includes Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei for a useful chronological perspective on Angkor’s development. Later, we stop at the Kompong Kdei Bridge for a short visit this ancient bridge (built during Khmer Empire period), and a short stop at Stoung to visit some colonial houses and Khmer houses. Check-in hotel, Ovenright at hotel, Kampong Thom.
 
DAY 08: KAMPONG THOM
Today we visit the local markets, discovery of Sambor Prei Kuk's temples, is located about 30 Km from Kampong Thom. Certainly the most beautiful examples of the Pre-Angkorien art of the 7th century (615-650AC); more than hundred temples in luxuriant vegetation. Many are in ruins and some of them are sustains by roots of chees monger as wood sculpting. Sambor Prei Kuk its the deep Cambodia and very quiet and charming place, we visit the Prasat Andet temple, Overnight at hotel, Kampong Thom.
 
DAY 09: KAMPONG THOM - KAMPONG CHAM
Today we continue our trip to Kampong Cham, Kapong Cham, is Cambodia's third largest town, located on the banks of the mighty Mekong River. Enroute we stop visitng the Phnom Suntonk Mountain, it has 809 steps and an eclectic collection of shrines, carved Buddha, great views of the surrounding countryside and an active monastery, Phumprasat temple and visit Kuhanokor temple. Check-in hotel. In the late afternoon, we stroll aound the city and visit Wat Nokor, Wat nokor is a contemporary pagoda housed within Angkorian temple. This temple was built from sandstone and literate in the 11th Century Mahayana Buddhist shrine. It was rebuilt and dedicated to Therevada Buddhism in the 15th Century and today there are many Buddha images scattered throughout the complex. There is a small contemporary wat located within its walls. Overnight at hotel, Kampong Cham.
 
DAY 10: KAMPONG CHAM
Kompong Cham is a lively port on the banks of the Mekong River with some go od examples of colonial architecture. Today we visit the Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey hills: these two hills, each with a temple, translate as ‘Man hill’ and ‘Woman hill’ respectively. The hills offer beautiful views of this central part of Cambodia, Later will discover the beautiful Pepper, Rubber plantation of Chhup's region (some trees date of 1920) and the latex factory ancient style but still in important production,.Night in Kompong Cham. Visit the colonial house, building and villages of French colonial, where some are still remain. Overnight at hotel in Kampong Cham.
 
DAY 11: KAMPONG CHAM - PHNOM PENH
Today we travel by road to Phnom Penh, the south through the Mekong River basin. The Mekong River, which rises in Tibet, flows 315 km through Cambodia before continuing on, via Vietnam, to the sea. In the afternoon, free day at leisure and relax. Overnight at hotel, Phnom Penh.
 
DAY 12: PHNOM PENH - DEPARTURE
After breakfasat, free day at leisure until we transfer you to the airport for onwards flight.
