ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVE - SIEM REAP |
Arrival at Siem Reap, meet and transfer to check-in hotel. In the afternoon, we commerce tour with visiting the South Gate of Angkor Thom, This Royal city was first built under the reign of Udayadityavarman II in the 11th Century. Drive through the South Gate and visit Bayon Temple, Elephant terrace & Terrace of Leper King, at the North of the Baphuon lies the Royal city, of which very little remains. The first owes its name to the outstanding depiction of elephants, while the second gets its name from the magnificent sculpture of King Yasovarman, popularly known as the Leper King. DAY 02: SIEM REAP |
Breakfast. Today, we visit Sras Srang, the royal pool is situated opposite the East gate of Banteay Kdei. It is known as the King's bathing pond. Next stop is Banteay Kdei, Continue to Takeo and jungle-clad Taprom This temple was a monastery built by Jayavarman VII as a residence for his mother. In the afternoon, we visit, magnificent Angkor Wat to view its architecture and bas reliefs. Enjoy sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng hill. Overnight at hotel, Siem Reap. |

DAY 03: SIEM REAP (BANTEAY SREY & KBAL SPEAN) |
Breakfast. We begin today the north with visiting the elegant temple of Banteay Srei built by a Brahman in the 10th century; this temple was dedicated to Shiva. The famous pink sandstone structure bears a series of beautiful sculptures, lintels, pediments and friezes. These it is said must have been carved by Women as the detail are too fine for the hands of a man. And other well-preserved Banteay Samre, we take a picnic lunch in the countryside before walking through the lush jungle to visit the River bed carvings & scenic waterfall at Kbal Spean and the river of Thousand Linga.. DAY 04: SIEM REAP |
Breakfast at the hotel, we visit the group of Rolouse including Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei temples. In the afternoon, we do excursion by boat on Tonle Sap lake with visting the floating villages and market, late we visit the Les Artisans d’Angkor, a workshop to redevelop traditional Cambodian artisan skills and have free time to stroll around the local market. Overnight at hotel, Siem Reap. |

DAY 05: SIEM REAP - BATTAMBANG |
Today, we travel by road to Battambang province, Battambong is Cambodia’s second largest town, nestled on the banks of the Sangker River. Arrive in Battambang, check in hotel. Today we start visiting the village and discover the daily life in the Cambodian countryside. We visit the riverside temple of Wat Ek Phnom, is an 11th century Angkoria ruin built. Nex stop at a workshop specialized in wooden sculpture. Continue to the local NGO (non governmental organization) “La Maison de Coco” and “The city centre with its beautiful houses dating from the colonial time”. Overnight at hotel in Battambang. |

DAY 06: BATTAMBANG (RIDING ON THE LOCAL BAMBOO TRAIN) |
Breakfast at hotel. This morning we visit the sacred mountain of Phnom Sampeau and the killing field/cave.
Drive along the picturesque Sangker River to Wat Slaket Pagoda, the residence of the provincial Buddhist patriarch Continue to visit Wat Ek Phnom. Visit a market where Prahoc, the Cambodian fish paste, is made. Visit the Provincial Museum (closed on Saturdays / Sundays) and the local market. Drive to Phnom Banon with its five sandstone towers on top of a hill, climp the 337 steps reach the Prasat Bannon temple dating from the 12th century, and relish the breathtaking view over the surrounding plains until sunset. NB: In this day, if your group is more than 10 participants we offer the visit of PHARE PONLEU SELPAK, a local non governmental organisation giving circus, drawing and music classes to children from poor families. The visit is followed by a circus performance by the students |

DAY 07: BATTAMBANG - PHNOM PENH |
Breakfast. Drive to Phnom Penh. Stop at Ban Chkol, a small countryside villag e famous for itspottery. Visit Cambodia’s ancient capital Oudong with its three large stupas where the ash es of the former kings are preserved. Enjoy the amazing countryside view from the top of the hill. On arrival, Phnom Penh, city tour including the visit of the Wat Phnom, the symbol city of Phnom Penh. Overnight at hotel, Phnom Penh |

DAY 08: PHNOM PENH - DEPARTURE |
Breakfast at hotel, we visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Ounalom Monastery
In the afternoon, visit the Independece Monumet, Genocide Museum of Toul Sleng and Russian Market, before transfer out to the airport for onward flight departure. |
