DAY 1: DANANG - HUE |
Arrival Danang, meet and transfer to Hue for check in. Afternoon, we cruise along the Perfume River. Being the former royal capital, Hue’s surrounding countryside contains several of the tombs of the former Nguyen Emperors, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The ornate tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, set within a beautiful landscaped garden, will be the first stop. Back to the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. It is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. DAY 2: HUE - DANANG - HOIAN |
Morning, transfer to visit Imperial Citadel – Vietnam’s former imperial capital and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, tombs of Emperor Khaidinh and stop over at Dong Ba market for shopping. Lunch at local restaurant. Drive up to Danang by crossing the Hai Van pass. Stop at Lang Co fishing village for sightseeing. Arrival Danang, take a short time to visit Cham Museum –The world’s foremost collection of the sculpture of the ancient King–dom of Champa, consisting of some 300 pieces of sandstone and terracotta sculpture, is housed in a lovely, airy French colonial building originally constructed from 1915–16 with additions from 1935–36. DAY 3: HOI AN |
Full day discover Hoian ancient town – lies on the banks of the Thu Bon River. Hoian was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century and was declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Hoian has a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled–roof houses and narrow streets. The houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters. After lunch, continue explore the Hoian countryside by sampan including the Thanh Ha earthenware village. Overnight at hotel in Hoian(B/ L)

DAY 4: HOIAN - MYSON |
Morning, transfer to visit My Son – Vietnam’s most important Cham’s site. My son becomes a religious center in the late 4th century and lasts till 13th century – a longest period of development of any monument in Southeast Asia. My son is considered to be Champa’s counterpart to the grand cities of Southeast Asia’s other Indian– influenced civilizations: Angkor (Cambodia), Ayuthaya (Thailand) or Borobudur (Java). Afternoon, free at leisure for shopping in the central of town. Overnight at hotel in Hoian(B/ L)
